SET New Boston operates in a 255,145 sq. ft. leased facility located in the busy I-275 business corridor just west of Detroit Metropolitan airport. This location enables easy access to Ford’s Woodhaven, Dearborn and Wayne, MI stamping plants, Chrysler’s Warren and Sterling Heights, MI stamping plants and the Flat Rock, MI Auto Alliance stamping plant. SET New Boston has three blanking lines and two slitting lines with state-of the art leveling, stacking, blanking and slitting capabilities, thus making SET New Boston one of the only steel processors capable of processing BOTH Class A slit coils and Class A blanks. SET New Boston is currently in the process of adding additional blanking capacity in New Boston to aid in our Advanced Engineering efforts to develop new blanking techniques & technologies as well as improve our manufacturing flexibility.
